BIO

Director and writer Ilkay Uygur, born in Istanbul, 1986 graduated from Girne American University Cinema and Television and began his career in directing as an assistant director in advertising films.

He directed his first feature film, Düş Peşine, in 2022. The film was about the adventures of a group of young volunteers working at the Dreams Academy, where children with disabilities are educated, to protect their teachers and the school.
